Reflective Professional is an annual journal in information science and information related disciplines. The majority of content is selected by the editorial team from among student work on the Information and Library Studies course at Robert Gordon University (RGU).

The journal provides research, theoretical perspectives and accounts of reflective professional practice that are connected to students' academic and practical work. The journal aims to provide RGU students with a platform to publish their own work in a fully open access journal. Individual contributions may be from students at either masters or doctoral level, and may include dissertations, critical reviews and short opinion articles on issues relating to developments in contemporary information science.

Reflective Professional may also occasionally publish work by other contributors. Any interested persons are advised to contact the editorial board directly by e-mail (ReflectiveProfessional@rgu.ac.uk) to discuss their ideas.
